About the event
Join me for a fun hands-on workshop creating my Layered Petal Book Cover.
In this creative workshop, you’ll start by stencilling a background onto one of the Book Cover/Project Cover felt bases. Then, using precut melon shapes, you’ll layer six felted wool petals into a circle before adding another six printed fabric petals in between to build a striking flower-like design. Once arranged, you’ll machine stitch your layered petals in place using blanket stitch and decorative stitches, all with WonderFil’s beautiful 12wt Fruitti thread. The result is a richly textured and colourful book or journal cover you’ll love using—or gifting!
