Hey Canadians, I'm heading your way to My Sewing Room, Calgary, Canada. Come and join me for a Workshop, making our Runaway Strip Hexies! This project is perfect for those who love to play with decorative stitching and hexagons!

Create a beautifully textured Georgia Clutch using our playful Runaway Strip Hexies technique.

We begin by stitching strips of fabric together to create a unique pieced surface, before adding decorative stitches to bring in extra texture, detail and colour. Once the embellished fabric is complete, it is cut into hexagons and arranged across the clutch to create a striking, one-of-a-kind design.

During class, you’ll explore fabric placement, stitch combinations and hexagon arrangement, while learning how to turn simple strips of fabric into an eye-catching embellishment. The result is a modern and creative take on hexies, with plenty of opportunity to personalise your clutch and make it entirely your own.
